Features of the Satalight

The satalight® is extremely easy to use for teachers as well as students at all age levels. Its innovative design makes lifting, lowering and tilting the whiteboard a snap, while its tip-resistant, four-wheeled locking design allows for easy movement from room to room.

This integrated learning station increases one-to-one student/teacher interaction by allowing educators to assist students with physical and developmental disabilities become more independent by engaging them in learning problem solving skills.

The satalight® is an Assistive Technology Interactive Learning Station, accessible to people with significant physical and/or learning disabilities, including those in wheelchairs. The cornerstone of the satalight® is ease-of-use. With its innovative design, the satalight® increases one-to-one student/teacher interaction by allowing educators to engage students with physical and developmental disabilities to become more independent through learning problem solving skills. The ADA wheelchair compliant satalight® offers multi-sensory stimulation, allows for annotation and touch on an interactive whiteboard with a high output projector and has the capability to incorporate additional components.

The original satalight features a SMART Board™ interactive whiteboard which can be moved up or down, as well as tilted at multiple angles from any vertical or horizontal position making it infinitely more accessible to the physically challenged students, conforming to a student's reach. The Hitachi projector is overhead, on an arm, out of the way, with virtually no shadow cast on the whiteboard surface. Its design makes lifting, lowering and tilting the whiteboard, very easy. It is tip resistant and its four-wheeled locking design allows for easy movement from room to room.

 

 

satalight® HD

The new satalight HD features the same accessibility for students as the original satalight but uses a 1080p HD touch sensitive LCD display, requiring no projector.
